Biography |
Katia Langeard is a ceramic artist and designer living and working in France, Èze. She has grown up in a creative environment in a family of architects, surrounded by the paintings, sculptures, furniture and lighting created by her grandfather, acclaimed soviet architect Oleg Goryachev.
Katia Langeard studied architecture in Moscow Architectural Institute and dedicated many years to a career in architecture and interior design. In 2019 – 2023 she was learning pottery at the studio of Stephne Montalto, winner of Best Craftsman of France (MOF). Starting 2023 she is opened her studio and creating ceramic lighting and small furniture deeply influenced by her architectural background.
She participated in ceramic residency in Vallauris and she had two group expositions in France. Her works are located in A.I.R. Vallauris public collection and in private collections in France.
