aparts is a small studio based in Malmö (Sweden). It is run by Mia Hultgren, a Swedish artist, and designer. Her practice is cross-disciplinary with a focus on textile. The work is driven by the process of making, a hands-on practice that allows a playful and experimental approach, pushing and challenging the limitations and possibilities of materials and techniques. Always with a focus on color, material, textures, and tactility.

Mia holds a Master's from The Royal College of Art (2018) and a Bachelor's from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design (2015). She has international experience and her work has been shown in exhibitions in London, Copenhagen, and Malmö.
