"Brave New Lines is a young design studio following unconventional trajectories in pursuit of meaningful additions to everyday life. We extract value from untapped potential, and create expressive, pragmatic objects with a clear-cut intent."
Driven by a desire to reduce complexity and discover the obvious, Brave New Lines aspires to challenge established norms within the industry, by meeting todays needs of responsible production, effective transportation, and transparent value chains.
As a preliminary exercise, our first products are all explorations on how to make use of standardized shelf material and abundant local timber. With this approach, we aim to engage local workshops by eliminating the need for specialized tooling, and to regain ownership and pride in local materials.
