Alice Schillaci, inspired by the Japanese concept of asobi – the playful enjoyment of making for making’s sake – founded CDT in 2014. Superior craftsmanship and Italian cultural heritage are the foundations on which CDT has built its line of products, creating an unbreakable bond between kitchen and narrative. There is a constant balance between tradition and innovation, and a dialogue between what the object is and what the object can become through the stories and narratives connected to it.
