Around the Studio is an interdisciplinary collective founded by Tika Shelia and Ano Jishkariani, based in Tbilisi, Georgia, in 2021. The Studio explores cultural, social, and political themes through multidisciplinary projects that merge community engagement and collaboration.
The studio employs a diverse range of practices, including object design, installation, and relational or video art. 
Their practice focuses on transforming objects and materials that emerge from collective actions into functional, everyday items. By reimagining public symbols as domestic objects, Around the Studio creates a dialogue between personal environments and larger societal movements.
By integrating local traditions, contemporary issues, and diverse disciplines, Around the Studio seeks to create spaces and experiences that encourage reflection, participation, and collective action.
