In a world increasingly shaped by spectacle and surface-level identity, Persona offers an introspective encounter, one where design becomes a mirror for the self. Through a vivid, multisensory journey, the exhibition explores how furniture and objects can embody human personality, revealing the emotional complexity of identity. Persona treats Collectible Design as a form of self-expression, translating psychological nuance into spatial experience. Each space reflects a distinct facet of the self: the precision of discipline, the spark of joyful rebellion, and the warmth of sensual introspection.
These personas are not rigid archetypes, but fluid states, mirroring how identity shifts with time, context, and emotional landscape. No one is 2 defined by a single trait; we are constellations of moods, contradictions, and inner worlds. This idea unfolds across Persona’s defined rooms and the transitional spaces that bind them, each contributing to a cohesive and interwoven whole. With this exhibition, we set out to challenge the impulse to label, resisting the notion that individuals can be reduced to their most visible traits.
Instead, Persona reveals the quiet multitudes each of us contains. Even the most exacting perfectionist may harbor tender fantasies or flashes of whimsy, layers that surface only through curiosity, vulnerability, or the comfort of good company. Persona embraces a maximalist sensibility, not of excess, but of richness, celebrating the many contradictions, textures, and desires that shape who we are.
As you move through the exhibition, we invite you to pause and reflect: Which pieces mirror something within you? More than an exhibition, Persona is an invitation to feel, reflect, and see yourself in the objects that surround us.
Above all, we hope you’ll find yourself standing before a piece, not just admiring its form, but recognizing something familiar... and thinking, “ That’s me.”
