Irthi Contemporary Crafts Council is a pioneering organisation based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, that promotes cultural and creative initiatives to empower women economically and socially. The Council also aims to develop a sustainable economy to support the craft heritage of the UAE. Together with the creative studio Mr. Lawrence, Irthi presented the exhibition “Echoes of Alchemy” during Milan Design Week 2023. As part of it, they are presenting postcards dedicated to the the projects and collections related to this exhibition centred around the importance of gastronomy, cultural heritage and sustainability.
