The Shaped by Fire project explores cultural synthesis and movement in time, the simultaneity of the past and the future. The artist revives the Finnish wood imprint technique from the past century and develops it further, experimenting with wood and glassblowing processes to master the synergy of elements, achieving an enhanced natural metamorphosis of shapes. Material-led creative serendipity results in objects seemingly grown from the earth rather than made by hand.
