Press Release & Kit

The press kit is the heart of a PR campaign. This is where journalists should quickly be able to get an overview of the story and find the images and information they need. Depending on which package you choose we can handle press kits in two ways:

1) Done WITH you
You produce your own press release and images, which we will then host and link to. This also means that you will be responsible for handling any inquiries that may come.

2) Done FOR you
We will craft a professional press release accompanied by a well-organised press kit, including all the assets journalists need. The press kit will always include an image tear sheet, for the press to quickly identify the images they would like to use. 

Press Newsletter

We can share your press release to our well-maintained subscriber database of over 3000 magazines and design journalists. While we can’t guarantee editorial coverage, this kind of outreach often leads to products being included in shopping features.

PR Strategy Call

Navigating PR and timelines can be difficult. Especially when having to focus on all the other aspects of running a studio simultaneously. On a strategy call, we will learn about your practice, find the right focus, frame your story for success, make a launch plan that doesn’t overlap with other major events, and provide feedback on the production and selection of media that should carry your campaign.

Targeted Press Outreach

We can identify and curate a target list of the journalists and magazines that are most likely to feature your story. Adorno has built relationships with some of the most renowned design publications, internationally. We will enter a dialogue with each one of them, and keep you in the loop along the way.

Managing Press Inquiries

The game of PR can be tricky sometimes, and there are many unwritten rules. We know the game, and how to strategically pitch the right images to the right magazine. If a bigger publication shows interest, it might be wise to offer exclusivity. When we manage inquiries, you ensure to reach the widest audience possible and providing editors with the materials they need – on time.

When you have decided on the ideal package you can secure your spot by paying placing the order. We will reach out shortly after.

During a one-hour call we will layout the foundation of your PR campaign, and set the direction for the story.

We will provide you with a Drive folder where you can upload high-res images and video as well a uploading all pieces to Adorno to have the info we need.

At least one month ahead of launch we will share the press release. For better chances of getting featured in print media this should be 3 month ahead.

Your pieces or project will officially launch, and we will do another round of follow up with journalists, to cover the news.

One month after the launch of your campaign we will provide you with a detailed report on how your campaign performed so far.

We know that PR agencies, other platforms and magazines are charging ten times more than us, because we have been paying those bills ourselves getting to where we are today. We have gathered a lot of know-how from working with leading design PR agencies and magazines, and by utilising economics of scale, effective packages and systems we allow you to benefit from our global PR network at a fraction of what it should cost.

Since we started Adorno back in 2017, we have learned a lot about the behaviour of art-buyers and digital marketing. Based on this knowledge we have refined the way we promote and sell pieces through storytelling. This has grown to become our PR and promotion services which, besides the promotion included in our membership, allocates our entire machinery to focus on one project – with all the same efforts as we do when launching our own collections and exhibitions. The outcome is not always easy to predict, but if you provide good images – we know that it leads to increased sales, following, press coverate and recognition. Some designers have even been spotted and curated for solo-shows at some of the worlds best galleries. 

The amount of time it takes depends on the campaign and when we receive your material. If we receive your material and answers in time it should take no longer than 2 weeks to have the campaign ready. Campaigns including edited videos might take a bit longer because editing and reviewing can take time. We encourage you to book a campaign at least one month before the desired launch date.

Yes, we offer the option to pay a feature in two instalments. Please reach out if you would like us to make a payment plan. 

You are intrinsically involved in the production of the feature. You are an active participant who, in coordination with the Adorno team, decide on the angle / story of the campaign by responding to a series of questions provided by our editors.

High-res images and videos of the pieces, studio, and creative process are an integral part of launching a successful, engaging feature. The Adorno production team will edit the raw material provided into engaging assets so ensure a successful campaign.

ADORNO has grown a targeted audience of cosmopolitan design and art lovers spanning the ages of 20-60, with the majority of customers in the age of 30-40. While our follower base is spread across all continents, the majority of ADORNO’s customers are based around the larger metropolitan areas of Europe and the US.

A strategic press release is crafted for each feature accompanied by a Press Kit with all high-res images and assets. It is then distributed to ADORNO’s 2000+ network of magazines and leading design journalists, through our monthly press-digest newsletter.  ADORNO will handle all press inquiries and make sure editors get what they need – in time.

We also offer tailored PR campaigns where we, based on a PR strategy, reach out to a handful of VIP press contacts to increase your chances of getting press coverage. 

As an integral component of the ADORNO platform, featured designers are highlighted in prime locations to get maximum exposure from visitors and clients.

The banners on the frontpage, members page, and catalog pages intuitively link to the showroom of the featured designer, where highlighted pieces can be acquired by members of ADORNO’s global audience.
