These sculptures are made out of hand-blown glass and natural pieces of rock. The molten glass is blown directly on its matching stone, creating perfectly balanced sculptures.
This specific sculpture is made with transparent glass that was blown between two silex stones that come from the Parisian area. The glass part of the sculpture literally holds the two stones together. The little opening on the top, created when the glass was cut off the pipe when still soft, allows the sculpture to be used as a vase if filled with water.
