Description
Lovingly made in Jerusalem by Palestinian artist and ceramicist Inas Halabi, the Marbled Palestine collection is for lovers of the earth and its natural colours.
Inspired by traditional ways of working with the clay, Inas relies on hands-on techniques including coiling, pinching, and slab building to allow for shapes that can’t be created on the wheel to emerge.
Inas’s Marbled Palestine collection is created by mixing and wedging 4-5 types of earthenware, recycled from her studio. The designs are similar in their earth-like colors, but no piece is like another. Each bowl is fired twice to a final tempeature of 1176 degree Celsius, making it strong, durable, and kitchen friendly. Although they are dishwasher safe, it is advisable (and joyful) to wash fine ceramics by hand.
Due to the handcrafted nature of this product, each piece is completely unique and may vary slightly in size, shape, texture and colour, all depending on the bake of the day.
Please note: Production time begins in January 2021.
