The design of this mirror was inspired by certain aspects of art deco furnishings, particularly by a type of vanity our grandmothers called a luna (moon). It was with a nostalgic sensibility that we dreamed up this subtle piece. The mirror gives off a coy glance in a moment of intimacy.
Each piece is individually forged by hand, meaning that minor variations in design, color or shape are not considered defects.
The fabrication of these pieces consists of a chain of artisanal processes that provide fairly-compensated job opportunities to several families. The acquisition of handmade pieces favors the preservation of traditions that are essential to maintaining strong cultural identities.
Remove dust regularly with a dry cloth. If necessary, clean with mild liquid soap and water, using a soft sponge.
Vases and trays may be filled with water, but oxidation or mineralization stains may occur after prolonged contact. We recommend changing the water frequently and rinsing well before refilling.
The finishes highlight the different states of copper. In order to keep the pieces in good condition, we recommend not using chemical or abrasive products on them. Heat exposure may permanently damage the finish on the pieces.
