About the designer

Luke Malaney designs and creates one of a kind pieces of furniture that are made to last. Using old world joinery, elegant design, and some funk, his pieces will last a lifetime. Luke learned most of his woodworking knowledge studying up in the Catskill mountains and then from an old time woodworker from Rome. It was after soaking all that up, he took his vision and ran with it, ending up at a studio in Red Hook where he creates his furniture. Every piece is made to order and treated the same, whether it be one of Luke’s designs, collaborations, or a client\'s vision. The goal is simple, a satisfied client and maker creating something to last.
