Tim van Cromvoirt graduated in 2011 from the AKV| St.Joost | Academy Art & Design with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction Design (also known as Art & Technology). For his graduation project “Thermophores,” he was awarded the St. Joost medal, which celebrates the best graduation project. That same year he was also awarded a place in the academy’s “HOT100” List, which features its most impressive alumni in the arts, media and technology. Van Cromvoirt’s work is set in the increasingly important field of Art, Science & Technology, and aims to explore these intersecting realms, producing design products that are intriguing, mysterious, technically complex, but most of all enchanting.
