Description

Tim von Cromvoirt’s “Lungplant” is a kinetic design object intended to reduce stress and create a meditative environment. Conceived to evoke a landscape of luminous living things, “Lungplant” explores the influence it has on spectators. The gentle movement of its motors recalls the natural inhalation and exhalation cycle of the “organs” of living organisms; surrounding yourself with these artificial organisms produces a calming effect, encouraging you to become aware of the tempo of your own breathing tempo, and to slowly start to adapt to theirs.
