The STYX collection presents a series of mirrors with singular and unique shapes. Each object is imagined in the form of a collage, revealing the graphic balance between curve and geometric form, between the reflection of glass and the roughness of lava stone. Glass and rock combine to create a totemic object, a landmark in our daily lives.

Materials: lava stone and black tinted mirror. Three sizes available: small, medium, and large.
Object signed with certificate of authenticity. Designer Sophia Taillet is based in Paris.

Sophia Taillet is a designer, graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris. She pays particular attention to the exploration of the material as a trigger of imagination and apprehends the elaboration of her objects as sculptures in order to let herself be carried by her intuitions and integrate a large part of experimentations. From steel to glass, his collections seek to reveal the intrinsic qualities of the material. Sophia Taillet has created a series of suspended furniture called "Le Temps Suspendu" for the Palais de Tokyo, and her flexible steel light Helik light will be exhibited at the Venice Biennale of Architecture in 2018. In 2019, through the Frac d'Auvergne, she was selected for a six-month residency in a glassmaking center in Yzeure, France. In total immersion, she creates a collection of glass furniture. A balance between organic form and the play of light, this collection was exhibited at the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven and recently at the Collectible Fair in Brussels.
